Mysuru: A bike rider suffered severe injuries after he tried to avoid hitting a bike arriving from the opposite direction on Mysuru-Nanjangud road on Tuesday, January 17.
The rider along with a woman was coming from Nanjangud when the incident took place. The rider seeing a bike speeding from the opposite direction feared that he would hit it and suddenly applied brakes. In the process, he fell down and suffered severe head injuries. He lost a lot of blood on the spot. However the helpful onlookers arranged for an ambulance and shifted the injured to the hospital.
Police inspected the spot.
