Mysuru: The lady conductor who lodged a complaint of sexual harassment against her superior in Devaraja Police station was threatened by a person presumably close to the new education and Wakf minister of Karnataka.
Shafiq, accused of threatening the lady conducter
The lady conductor has alleged that the supporter of Minister Tanwir Sait has threatened her of serious consequences if the complaint is not withdrawn by her, which she lodged against Maqsood Ahmed. He has threatened her saying her condition will turn worse, as many people including him may inflict more pain in her life and are ready to face the consequences if events turns communal. He also conveyed that no commissioner can act against him as he is close to the new education minister in his threatening call to Bharathi, the lady conductor.
She has forwarded the recorded telephone call in which Shafiq has threatened her and has handed over the audio clip along with a fresh complaint asking the police to act against Shafiq.
