Mysuru: The present state government headed by Chief Minister lacks aim, direction and foresight, said S M Krishna launching a strong attack on the state Congress Government during by-poll campaign on April 3.
Speaking to media persons in Nanjanagud, the former chief minister said, the government didn’t seem to be effective round the clock and was sticking to a measure which is not satisfactory. The present government is the worst ever seen by him, he said and added that the political polarisation had begun and would continue as it is a dynamic process in democracy.
The state should have had a government akin to PM Modi’s but unfortunately it is not, Krishna said and the by-polls will not be the trend setters, he opined deviating from the view of other BJP leaders.
He recalled his association with V Srinivasprasad and praised the Dalit leader’s personal qualities and sounded confident that the “strongman” would prevail. Prasad reciprocated by heaping words of praise on Krishna and recalled their association over the years.
BJP leaders Shobha Karandlaje, Bachhegowda, S A Ramdas, M Shivanna and others were present at the press conference.
