Mysuru: Merely a few hours before the state government dropped the controversial steel flyover plan in the state capital, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa said that he would be consoled only if Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stepped down from the post of the CM.

Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, BSY billed off Siddaramaiah as the most corrupt CM in the history of India.

“If Minster K J George makes up his mind to step down from the post taking moral responsibility for the corruption in the steel bridge project, it would not suffice. The CM should step down as well, said BSY alleging that the CM and his family has received a kickback of Rs 65 crore for the same project.

Claiming that the Congress is only trying to scare him, BSY declared that he does not fear the consequences of opening cases against him and that he is ready to face any inquiry fearlessly.
