Students thrash bicycle thief in public

Mysuru: Students of Maharaja PU college thrashed a bicycle thief in public and handed him over to the police.

Najeem from Shantinagar is the thief who is behind bars. Based on the complaint filed by the students, Laxmipuram police have arrested the thief and sent to police custody.

From last three days several bicycles were stolen from the high school bicycle stand at Maharaja evening college. The college authorities had been helpless over the issue and the students decided to take matter in their hand. On Monday, students hid behind the bicycle stand to nab the thief. As usually the thief came to the bicycle stand and students caught him red-handed and thrashed him before handing over to the police.
