Mysuru: Fearing serious consequences PWD minister H C Mahadevappa’s son Sunil Bose has withdrawn his appeal from the state high court and may end up attending court proceedings in person at Mysuru city’s III District Additional and Session Court as second accused on August 30.
Bose’s name was left out in a corruption case related to sand mining. However when the Complainant Basavaraju appealed against that move, the lower court included his name later in the list as second accused in the corruption case.
The court issued summons twice to him to face the court in person. To evade personal attendance, he moved to high court seeking exemption. With high court not giving any relief, he is left with no option apart from attending the lower court proceedings in person at the court.
His case is likely to come up for hearing at the designated Mysuru city court on August 30th .Being aware of the developments which are not in his favour, he has withdrawn his earlier appeal from the high court.
