Mysuru: Raju from Anemala, a tribal hamlet in H D Kote taluk, sustained injuries after a tusker attacked him outside his house late on August 14 evening.
He had gone out to answer nature’s call when the wild elephant attacked him hitting him with its tusk. Luckily, he escaped from it and was later rushed to H D Kote hospital from where he was referred to K R Hospital.
Speaking to Newskarnataka, Dr. S Chandrashekar, Superintendent, K R Hospital said,“Injured Raju was admitted to hospital on August 15. He got injured on the left side of the chest and suffered multiple rib fractures. His condition is stable and out of danger.”
