Twitter war between national political parties on Siddganga seer’s death brings shame

Mysuru: It is rightly quoted that “politics is a dirty game.” It has neither occasion nor specified intervals. The saga of blaming each other irrespective of the sensitivity of the event keeps going on. This is rightly observed in terms of political parties paying their last respects to the Late Shree Shivakumara Swamiji, pontiff of Siddaganga Matt in Tumakuru.

The Congress party took to Twitter to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not visiting the Siddaganga Matt to pay obeisance to Late Shree Shivakumara Swamiji.

For the tweets made by Deputy Chief Minister Dr. G Parameshwar today i.e., on Wednesday, January 23 stating that PM Modi knew only to attend celebrity weddings and not the funeral of such a great saint, the Bharatiya Janata Party MP Pratap Simha too has counter-tweeted.

Pratap Simha has tweeted, “Sir, where were your SoniaG and RahulG? Did they turn up? Can u pls answer?!

Several devotees and followers of the Siddaganga Matt have opined that this was truly shameful on the part of both the national political parties.
