Mysuru: A 49-year-old man undertrial was found dead at the Mysuru Central Prison here on Tuesday.
The deceased is identified as Kumar, a native of H D Kote. Kumar was facing trial in a murder case and was kept under judicial custody. He was diagnosed with lung disease and was under treatment. On Monday night his condition deteriorated and breathed his last in the prison. City court judge visited the jail.
The body of the deceased has been sent for autopsy to the mortuary at MMC&RI, here.
A case has been registered at Mandi Mohalla Police Station.
