Mysuru: An illicit relationship resulted in suicide, where the real wife committed suicide unable to bear the harassment by her husband’s family in T K Layout area of Mysuru.
Lekhana (25), wife of Basavaraju is the deceased.
Nazarbad police had summoned Lekhana to the police station last afternoon based on a complaint lodged by Kaivalya. Probably her husband’s paramour had complained of defamation which might have forced the police to summon Lekhana, though the actual reason is not known.
Husband Basavaraju allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with Kaivalya, in the company of family members, used to harass wife Lekhana, it is gathered.
Unable to bear the harassment, Lekhana ended her life.
Saraswathipuram police lodged a complaint and are investigating.
