Mysuru: The father-in-law of a wing commander has held the latter solely responsible for his daughter’s death, in a complaint registered at Nazarbad Police Station based on her death note.
On April 4, Shubha (43), wife of Wing Commander Suraj Ganapathi Hedge went missing from her residence on Vinaya Road in Siddartha layout limits and a missing complaint was registered in the Nazarbad police station by the husband.
On April 5, police found a mutilated body of a lady on railway track between Srirangapatna and Pandavapura. On correlation of information, it was later found to be that of Shubha, the wing commander’s wife who went missing the previous day.
Shubha had written a death note before leaving the house giving all details of valuables and documents in the house and had requested the family to take care of her children. Married for over 17 years and having two Children, the relationship between the wing commander and Shubha had turned sour, it is gathered.
In his complaint filed at Nazarbad police station, father of Shubha has alleged physical and mental harassment of her daughter by Suraj and charged him of assault on her in an inebriated state.
