Mysuru: The main intention behind having a workshop of this nature, is to educate the students regarding latest technologies in the market. Students must be aware of modern technology like goggle go” said, Vice President of Qwinix Mahesh D Chinnnaswamy at a two day workshop on ‘Enterprise Application development’ at Golden Jubilee Bhavan. Organised by the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in association with Qwinix Technologies.
“In the coming days workshops on new technologies should be conducted in every college in and across Mysuru”, he added.
“There is a need of understanding the current programme languages. In the coming days teachers can be replaced by machines, if a teacher lags behind knowing in understanding modern techniques. Many things like ATM etc have replaced the banking system ,e-mails have replaced telegram and a wide range of technology is been used in film industry “ said, Joint Director (Academics)of JSSMVP Dr B G Sangameshwara.
He further felt that India is lagging behind in the usage of modern technologies.
The workshop on Enterprise Application development is intended to help the participants to understand the current trends in programming language .This introduces the participants to the world wide web application development and Ruby, Devops, Shell Scripting , Ruby on Rails and Python
The Worksho was held for the teaching faculty regarding Enterprise Application development. Around 45 teachers from various colleges like Karnataka like Vidhya Vardhaka, GSS, NIE, NEIT, KIT Tiputur and PES Shivamoga attended the programme.
