Mysuru: Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, addressed a viral video featuring a phone call with his father, sparking a political debate in the state. Former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy criticized the government on social media, prompting a swift response from Yathindra on Twitter, where he refuted the allegations.

In a press conference in Mysuru, former MLA Yathindra clarified that the video pertained to the CSR fund and emphasized the need for concrete evidence when accusing a Chief Minister. Both he and his father denied involvement in any business activities.

The video snippet, where Yathindra mentions “Hello Dad… Vivekananda,” triggered Kumaraswamy’s response, who shared a transfer document questioning the Inspector’s posting. Yathindra expressed ignorance about the identities involved and disclaimed any connection to Inspector Vivekananda’s transfer, accusing the opposition of baseless accusations.

Yathindra retaliated by questioning Kumaraswamy’s business activities during his Chief Minister tenure, emphasizing the need for evidence before making corruption allegations. As the political dispute escalates, the public awaits further developments and clarity on the allegations and counter-allegations among the involved figures.
