Mysuru: After the party did well in the recently concluded Gram Panchayat elections, the much awaited cabinet expansion and reshuffle is likely to happen as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will be attending All India Congress Chief Minister’s meeting in Delhi.
Addressing to the media persons, CM Siddaramaiah said, “in order to revive congress party in the country, the meeting has been arranged and will be chaired by party president Sonia Gandhi. After the meeting, the Karnataka Congress leaders will hold meeting with the high command to discuss the expansion and reshuffle of cabinet.”
Responding to the comments made by BJP vice president and former chief minister Yedyurappa, the CM said, “Yeddyurappa led BJP government which failed to provide stable administration is now commenting on the government which are baseless. BJP doesn’t have the moral right to speak about it. The present Gram Panchayat elections is the proof of successful 2 year governance of the Congress. In 5 districts BJP has upper hand and JD(s) in three district. Apart from it, Congress has won many number of seats in the state.”
“In a week the directors for the board and corporation will be announced as the final list have been already prepared,” he said.
