NCC cadet from Karnataka takes part in Republic Day Parade
Demonstrating discipline and dedication, Nayana H., a student from Karnataka Arts College, earned the prestigious honor of representing Karnataka at the 2025 Republic Day Parade in New Delhi. She was the only cadet chosen from the 24th Battalion and had the rare privilege of marching in front of the country’s highest leaders, including the President, Prime Minister, and Vice President.
Brimming with pride and enthusiasm, Nayana shared her exhilaration over Karnataka-Goa’s victory in securing the PM Banner, a feat achieved after a six-year gap. In recognition of this notable success, the Karnataka government organized a special felicitation ceremony, where she had the honor of meeting the Governor, Chief Minister, and several esteemed dignitaries.
Grateful for the support and guidance that shaped her journey, Nayana conveyed sincere appreciation to DG NCC Gurubir Pal Singh, ANO Captain Dr. Y.S. Rahut, Colonel J.R. Chaudhary, Lt. Col. Y.S. Ranawat, Principal D.B. Karadoni, Gymkhana VP Dr. I.C. Mulagund, Dr. Annapurna, and senior NCC cadet Vinayak Hatture for their encouragement and mentorship.
Her remarkable achievement has not only brought honor to her institution but also inspired aspiring cadets across the state.
