A tragic incident occurred on Monday in Noida’s Sector 74, where a nine-year-old girl, Priyanshi, lost her life after allegedly coming into contact with a live electric wire. Priyanshi, who lived with her family in a hut in Sarfabad village, was playing with a ball near the field where her father, Hari Om, works as a caretaker.
Around 11 pm, Priyanshi stepped outside to play but accidentally ran after her ball into the backyard, where she came in contact with the live wire. Teji Sharma, Station House Officer of Sector 113, confirmed the incident and stated that the girl was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The body was later handed over to her family after the post-mortem.
