Property dispute in Jamkhandi: Four brothers murdered - 1 min read

Bagalkot: A property dispute went awry here at Madhurkhandi Village in Jamkhandi taluk of the district when four from a family were hacked to death.

The incident occurred on Saturday August 28 and the deceased have been identified as Basavaraj Udagatti (36), Ishwar Udagatti (40), Mallappa Udagatti (44), and Hanamant Udagatti (48) from Madhurkhandi village.

According to case filed in Jamakhandi Police Station, the murders were result of property dispute between two neighbouring families, and the murders took place in the fields. The murderers are at large and a search operation has been launched to trace the accused.
