A devastating fire erupted in a hut at Eganoor village, Raichur taluk, on Thursday morning due to a gas cylinder leak and explosion. The blaze completely destroyed the hut, tragically claiming the lives of five sheep.
While no human casualties were reported, the hut’s owner, Narasimhalu, suffered significant losses, including cash, groceries, and jewelry. The incident occurred within the Raichur Rural Police limits.
Fire brigade personnel promptly responded and managed to extinguish the flames, preventing further damage.
