Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the India, iDEX, and Karnataka Pavilions at Aero India 2025 on Monday. The India Pavilion showcased the design, development, innovation, and manufacturing capabilities of domestic defence industries, emphasizing India’s journey toward becoming a global aerospace and defence powerhouse.

The India Pavilion displayed over 275 exhibits, representing the entire defence ecosystem, including Defence PSUs, design houses, private companies, MSMEs, and start-ups. Key platforms featured included the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft, Combat Air Teaming System, and the Twin-Engine Deck-Based Fighter.

Singh also visited the iDEX Pavilion, which highlighted indigenously developed products in advanced domains such as Aerospace, Anti-drone systems, Cybersecurity, and Robotics. He unveiled several publications, including the iDEX Report 2024, iDEX Coffee Table Book, and iDEX Finance Manual, aimed at supporting innovation in defence.

The Karnataka Pavilion featured cutting-edge technologies from the state’s defence and aerospace industries, demonstrating Karnataka’s strong defence and aerospace ecosystem supported by over 2,000 SMEs. The event is taking place at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 10 to 14.
