Shahi Exports has announced a joint venture with Little King Global, a leading synthetic sportswear fabric manufacturer from Taiwan, to establish a cutting-edge processing unit for synthetic performance fabrics in Shivamogga, Karnataka.
The partnership aims to bolster employment opportunities in the region, positioning Shahi Exports as a prominent employer in the manufacturing sector in Shivamogga.
The production line is slated to be fully operational by the end of 2024, with an initial capacity of 500 tonnes per month.
Ramalingam T., CEO of the Knits Division at Shahi Exports, expressed excitement for the venture, emphasizing its significance in expanding the company’s footprint and enhancing its product portfolio.
The joint venture seeks to capitalize on the growing demand for high-quality synthetic fabrics in the sportswear and performance apparel markets, leveraging the expertise of both companies.
By combining Shahi Exports’ manufacturing prowess with Little King Global’s synthetic fabric production expertise, the facility aims to become a key player in the industry.
Additionally, the companies have ambitious plans to double the production capacity to 1,000 tonnes per month in the future, further solidifying their market position.
The strategic location of the facility in Shivamogga is expected to offer logistical advantages and access to skilled labor, contributing to the region’s economic growth and job creation efforts.
