Today at noon, the Diocese of Shimoga was struck by tragedy as Rev. Fr Anthony Peter, Parish Priest of Little Flower of Theresa Church in Shikaripura, passed away in a fatal accident near Savalanga. He was returning to Shikaripura after completing his work in Shivamogga.
Bro. Stephen, who was accompanying him during his regency, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to Nanjappa Hospital in Shivamogga.
Rev. Fr Anthony Peter had faithfully served at Our Lady of Health, Minor Basilica from 2016 to 2023. Funeral arrangements are still pending.
