
Three Arrested in Koppal Stabbing Incident Amidst Personal Feud
KOPPAL: Authorities have arrested three individuals in connection with a stabbing incident that occurred in the Gundamma locality of Koppal. The altercation, which broke out on Monday, resulted in injuries to three people and has led to a complaint against nine individuals.
According to Koppal Superintendent of Police Ram Arasiddi, the scuffle stemmed from personal enmity between two groups. One of the injured has been identified as Shivakumar, a local resident.
A complaint was lodged by Manjunath, a resident of the area, prompting the police to file an atrocity case. Currently, three individuals are in custody, while three to four additional suspects remain at large. The police confirmed that the situation in Gundamma is now stable, with no further incidents reported.
Ongoing investigations are being conducted to address the case.
In a related note, a separate stabbing incident occurred on September 18 in Belagavi, where three individuals were injured during a clash amid a Ganesha procession. Authorities have stated that there is no communal motive behind that altercation.
