Kottigehar: In a heartbreaking incident near Abrukodge under Balur Thana of Mudigere taluk, a driver lost control of his vehicle, leading to a fatal fall into a 200-foot gorge. The driver, identified as Ranjan, tragically lost his life in the accident. Ranjan, who ran a hotel in Jannapur, was en route to Kalasa when the accident occurred due to a loss of control.
Locals have been vocal about the need for a barrier wall in the area, a measure they believe could prevent such accidents. Despite their persistent requests, no action has been taken, leaving the community deeply frustrated and saddened by the tragic loss.
