Madhugiri: A devastating head-on collision near Katagondanahalli in Madhugiri taluk on Sunday has claimed the lives of five individuals, including a young boy. The tragic accident involved two cars and has left the community in mourning.

The second car, heading from Bangalore to Karenahalli via Madhugiri, was occupied by Nagaraju (34) and Siddhagangappa (35).
