Three Shops Gutted in Fire at Tumakuru’s Ashok Nagar

Tumakuru: An accidental fire broke out early Monday morning at Ashok Nagar on BH Road, near the university, destroying three shops.
The fire started in a mobile shop and quickly spread to a nearby vegetable store and sweet stall. Fire and Emergency Services personnel responded promptly and managed to douse the flames, preventing further damage. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The mobile shop was completely gutted, with mobile phones of various brands reduced to ashes. The total loss is estimated to be around ₹8 lakh. The incident occurred within the New Extension police station limits, and authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
