Accused in 18-Year-Old Case Arrested by Udupi Police

Udupi: In a significant breakthrough, the police have arrested a suspect involved in a case that dates back 18 years under the Udupi city police station jurisdiction.
The arrested individual has been identified as Abdul Hameed, a 48-year-old resident of Chikkamagaluru. Udupi city police officers Sanjay H C and Hemanth Kumar M apprehended Hameed in Tavarekere, Mandya district.
Following his arrest, Hameed was brought before the court, where he was remanded to judicial custody until February 25.
The arrest marks a key development in a long-pending case, with authorities now advancing with further legal procedures.
