Udupi: Air Marshal Manikantha of the Indian Air Force (IAF) held discussions with Udupi Deputy Commissioner Dr. K Vidyakumari regarding the allocation of land for the defence department.
The meeting was attended by Zilla Panchayat CEO Prateek Bayal, Superintendent of Police Dr. Arun K, IAF Administrative Officer P A Shailesh Kumar, and Tahsildar Srikant S Hegde.
Following the discussions, Air Marshal Manikantha conducted an on-site inspection of land parcels located at survey numbers 30, 31, and 34 in Nalkur village, Brahmavar taluk.
The visit was aimed at assessing the suitability of the land for defence purposes, ensuring it meets the necessary infrastructure and security requirements. Further proceedings regarding the land allocation will be taken up based on the findings from the inspection.
