A car overturned while trying to overtake another vehicle on the state highway between Karkala and Hebri, near Muniyalu, resulting in the vehicle striking a road divider and flipping over.
The accident occurred on a four-lane stretch of the highway. Both vehicles involved were carrying young passengers, and the incident reportedly happened when the driver of the front car failed to yield to the overtaking vehicle.
Passengers in the overturned car sustained minor injuries. Police have investigated the incident and identified negligent driving and speeding as contributing factors.
Authorities are currently gathering information on both vehicles involved to further address the circumstances leading to the accident.
