On September 3, a chain snatching incident took place in Shivalli village, Udupi. Kamala (70), a resident of Shivalli, was en route to her brother’s home near Tirumala Poultry Farm when the theft occurred.
An unidentified individual, approaching from the Perampalli side, forcefully stole a 16-gram gold chain from Kamala’s neck in broad daylight.
