On Saturday evening, a pickup collided with a stationary truck parked by the side of the road at Koppalangadi. The pickup, en route from Mangaluru to Udupi, lost control, causing the driver, Latesh, to crash into the truck from behind, resulting in severe injuries.

The impact of the collision left the pickup badly mangled. Prompt action from local residents led to Latesh being rushed to the hospital for medical attention. In response to the incident, Kaup SI Abdul Khader and his team visited the scene and registered a case.
