A startling incident occurred in Konnki village near Kundapur when a large python was discovered inside the bonnet of a car, sending shockwaves through the local community. Chandraprakash Shetty, a resident of Badakere, was driving his Honda Amaze when he heard an unusual rustling sound emanating from the engine compartment. Concerned, he promptly stopped the vehicle and opened the bonnet, only to find a python measuring approximately 12 feet long trapped inside.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Shetty quickly contacted the forest authorities for assistance. The officials arrived on the scene to safely extract the python from the car’s bonnet. Demonstrating professionalism and care, they handled the reptile gently before releasing it back into its natural habitat.

Local representatives, including former gram panchayat president Dinesh Shetty, along with Anil, Harish Poojary, Uday, and others, were present during the incident, providing support and witnessing the remarkable event.

This unusual encounter highlights the need for awareness regarding wildlife interactions and the importance of contacting authorities in such situations.
