Brahmavara: MCC Bank marked a significant milestone on 3rd March 2025 by celebrating the first anniversary of its Brahmavara branch, achieving a total business turnover of ₹10 crore, and inaugurating a new ATM facility at the branch premises. The event was attended by bank officials, local dignitaries, customers, and well-wishers.

ATM inauguration and blessings

The ATM facility was formally inaugurated by Mr Jerald Gonsalves, President of the Catholic Cooperative Society, Brahmavara. The occasion was blessed by Rev. Fr John Fernandes, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church, Brahmavara, who congratulated the Chairman, Directors, staff, and customers on the branch’s successful first year.

Mr Sourab Shetty, Proprietor of AS Used Cars, Brahmavara, carried out the first transaction at the ATM, symbolising the facility’s launch. Mr Shamsuddin Moideen Gudmi Kutty was present as the chief guest, and Mr Elroy Kiran Crasto, Director in charge of the branch, was also in attendance.

Chairman’s address and future goals

The programme was presided over by Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank. In his presidential address, Mr Lobo expressed gratitude to the customers, acknowledging their vital role in the successful establishment of the branch and its achievement of ₹10 crore business turnover within the first year.

He credited the milestone to excellent customer service and customer trust, highlighting how these factors drive success. He congratulated Branch Manager Mr Ovin Rebello and his team for their dedicated efforts and set an ambitious target of achieving ₹30 crore business turnover by the end of the next financial year, March 2026.

Mr Lobo also expressed his appreciation to Rev. Fr John Fernandes, who had blessed the premises during the branch’s inauguration last year.
