The gusty winds led to tree uprooting in several areas, disrupting vehicle movement. In Karkala, reports indicated roof damage in some locations due to the storm.
Weather Alert Issued
The Weather Department has forecasted rainfall with thunder and lightning over the next two days in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada districts. Residents have been advised to stay cautious during the stormy weather.
