Reshma and her daughter, who had been living in a rented accommodation, had left for her husband’s residence in Parkala. Meanwhile, Chandrakanth, the house owner, was out of town in Mumbai when the break-in occurred.
Crime discovered after days
The duo had vacated the house on January 25 and returned on January 29, only to find the front door ajar. On inspecting their belongings, they realized that 116 grams of gold ornaments, 100 grams of silver articles, and ₹30,000 in cash had been taken.
Investigation underway
Authorities have begun probing the case, gathering evidence to track down the culprits. The incident has raised concerns over security in the area, prompting residents to remain vigilant.
