Moodugiliyaru: In a heroic act, students from a local primary school in Moodugiliyaru, located within Kota gram panchayat limits, successfully extinguished a wildfire, averting a potential catastrophe. Their swift response has been widely praised by the community.
The fire had started in the forested area near SHRHF in Moodugiliyaru.
When the flames were spotted, Nesar, Vikas, and Manvitha, all Class 7 students, along with Gaurav, a Class 6 student, quickly sprang into action to control the fire. Their efforts were later supported by the staff of SHRHF, who worked together with the students to ensure the fire was completely put out.
