Udupi, October 22, 2025: The Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM), Bantakal, is all set to organise Hackotsava 2025, an exciting hackathon event where young innovators and coders will collaborate to create real-world solutions for industry challenges. The two-day event will be held on November 3 and 4, 2025, at the SMVITM campus, Bantakal.

Bridging Students and Industry Through Innovation

Hackotsava 2025 aims to connect students, educators, and industry professionals through a shared platform of creativity and technology. Participants will work on problem statements provided by local industries, developing practical software utilities and prototypes that address real-time business and technical challenges.

The event is expected to attract over 200 students from engineering and technology institutions across the region. Over a continuous 30-hour coding marathon, teams will brainstorm, design, and develop innovative solutions.

A panel of technical experts and industry judges will evaluate the projects and recognise the most promising teams with cash prizes and merit certificates.

Call for Industry Participation

SMVITM invites industries and startups from Udupi, Mangaluru, and nearby regions to collaborate in Hackotsava 2025 by contributing:
