Udupi: A violent street clash between two groups of youths near Malpe on Tuesday night around 9:15 PM created panic among locals and disturbed the peace in the area.

Eyewitnesses reported that the youths used bats to attack each other during the confrontation. Sources indicate that tensions between the two groups had been building for several days. One group reportedly consisted of local residents, while the other included migrant youths, with growing hostility finally boiling over into a public altercation.

The incident has triggered widespread concern in the community. Alarmed by the outbreak of violence, residents have urged authorities to take firm action against those involved to ensure such events do not recur.

Law enforcement agencies are expected to initiate an investigation and maintain heightened vigilance in the area.
