Student Dies After Falling from Moving Bus Near Nitte

On Wednesday, Janit Shetty, a 19-year-old second-year BSc student, tragically lost his life after falling from a moving private bus near Nitte. Janit was traveling from Karkala to Mangaluru when he was thrown onto the road and came under the back wheels of the bus.

Despite receiving first aid at a local hospital, Janit was later rushed to Manipal for advanced treatment but succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. He is survived by his mother and younger sister.

The incident has raised concerns about bus safety and passenger security.
