
Tragic Accident Claims Life of Pedestrian on NH 66 Near Navunda
A pedestrian was seriously injured and subsequently died en route to the hospital after being struck by a car on NH 66 near Navunda on Sunday night. The victim has been identified as 45-year-old Bhadra, son of Manja, and a resident of Golikatter near Nayakanakatte, falling under the Kergalu gram panchayat.
According to reports, Bhadra was walking along the side of NH 66, heading towards his home when the incident occurred. A Swift car traveling from Byndoor to Kundapur collided with him, leaving him gravely injured and lying on the road.
Ibrahim, a local resident from Gangolli, was called to the scene to bring an ambulance. Unfortunately, Bhadra succumbed to his injuries before the ambulance could arrive.
In the wake of this tragic incident, a case has been registered at the Byndoor police station as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
