
Tragic Suicides in Harakuru and Beluru Villages
Harakuru village resident Parvathi (50), who had been struggling with a mental illness, tragically ended her life on the morning of July 21 by hanging herself from a tree near her home. Authorities have registered a case at the Gangolli police station regarding this incident.
In a separate incident, Raju (60) from Champtadi in Beluru village, who suffered from severe alcohol addiction, also took his own life. He hanged himself at home on the night of July 20. The Kota police station has registered a case concerning this tragic event.
Both cases highlight the pressing need for mental health support and addiction treatment in these communities. These incidents are somber reminders of the impact of untreated mental health issues and substance abuse.
