In a heartbreaking incident at Kodi Beach on Saturday, October 26, two men drowned while swimming. The victims, identified as Ajay from Hasanalli, Bengaluru, and Santosh from Angalli, Kundapur taluk, were swept away by strong currents while playing in the waves.
Santosh had invited Ajay to visit Kodi Beach, but the outing took a tragic turn. Local fishermen and expert swimmers joined the search, recovering Ajay’s body first, followed by Santosh’s. A case has been registered at Kundapura police station.
