Two Sisters Go Missing from Hiriyadka; Search Underway

In a concerning development, two sisters from Hiriyadka, aged 24 and 18, have been reported

 since April 3. The young women, identified as Manjula and Mallika, left their home earlier that day and have not returned since.

According to family members, Manjula, the elder of the two, is married but had been living at her parental residence for the past year. The circumstances surrounding their disappearance remain unclear, and their sudden absence has caused distress within the community.

A missing persons complaint has been filed, and local authorities have launched an investigation. Police are currently collecting leads and verifying CCTV footage from nearby areas in hopes of tracing the sisters’ movements.

Family members and neighbours have appealed to the public for any information that could help locate them. If anyone has seen Manjula or Mallika or has relevant details, they are urged to contact the nearest police station immediately.

As the search continues, police have assured that all efforts are being made to locate the sisters and ensure their safe return.
