Preparation and Oversight

Additionally, webcasting has been implemented in all 28 centers to monitor the examination process, overseen by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board and the Udupi District Administration.
Security and Integrity Measures
To ensure transparency and prevent malpractices:
- CCTV cameras have been installed in every exam hall, and a control room at the District Commissioner’s office will monitor live feeds.
- Biometric machines and barcode readers will enhance security.
- Police constables will be deployed at each center, and a prohibition order will be enforced within a 200-meter radius of the centers, ensuring no photocopy shops are open.
Efficient Paper Distribution
The question papers will be securely stored in the district treasury and distributed by a three-member committee on exam day. These papers will be transported in GPS-enabled vehicles to prevent any tampering.
Shortened Exam Duration
This year, the exam duration has been shortened by 15 minutes, running from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Each exam will carry a maximum of 80 marks, and each exam hall will have a clock to help students manage their time efficiently.
Stress-Free Exam Environment
Efforts have been made to create a student-friendly environment during the exams. Mobile phones, calculators, and other electronic devices will be prohibited in the exam halls.
Preparation for Better Results
With the goal of securing the first position in the state, preparations for the exams began early. Special classes and additional coaching were provided, and extra classes were conducted for struggling students. In addition, government PUC lecturers underwent two days of specialized training to improve their teaching methods. Science students also received coaching for competitive exams like CET and NEET, further boosting their academic performance.
As Udupi looks forward to another successful year, authorities are hopeful that these efforts will help the district not only maintain its position but secure the top rank in the state this year.
