On January 29, following the bee attack on students at Volakadu Government School the day before, Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna visited the hospital to check on the condition of the affected students.
Medical professionals reported to the MLA that the students were recovering well from the bee stings and that they would soon be discharged. Suvarna spoke with the students to gather information about the incident and assured their parents of necessary assistance and support.
During the hospital visit, the MLA was accompanied by Udupi City Municipal Council Vice President Rajani Hebbar, School Development Committee Member Nagabhushan Shet, and medical personnel from the Koosamma Shambhu Shetty Memorial Haji Abdullah Mother and Child Hospital. Their presence demonstrated the community’s collective support for the affected students and their families.
Suvarna expressed his concern over the incident and emphasized the importance of student safety. He promised that the government would extend full assistance to ensure the students’ quick recovery.
