Kasargod: The police here on Friday August 28 arrested three persons in relation to jewellery shop robbery at Uppala in the district.
A robbery was held at S. S. Gold, Uppala months back and the accused behind the act have been arrested now. The arrested have been identified as Velayudha (46), Naamakkal, Tamil Nadu, Saidaali (49) from Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and Rajan (51).
It can be recalled here that the incident was held in November 2020 and in all 65 grams of gold jewellery and 2 kgs of silver were looted. The police have said that these are members of inter-state robbery gang. There are several cases registered against the accused in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other places apart from Kerala.
