Residents of Guddehalli village in Karwar, Uttara Kannada district, had to carry the body of 75-year-old Rama Monna Gouda for 4km uphill in the rain, due to the absence of a proper road. Guddehalli, part of Karwar City, remains disconnected despite multiple pleas for basic amenities. The incomplete road has left villagers without proper access. This incident has sparked outrage, with local CMC member Rukmini Gouda promising to raise the issue with authorities.
