Veteran Kannada actor Sarigama Viji has sadly passed away at the age of 77. He had been receiving treatment for multiple organ failure at Manipal Hospital in Yeshwantpur for the past four days. His condition worsened on January 12, leading to hospitalization and intensive care, but despite the doctors’ best efforts, he could not recover.
Sarigama Viji’s mortal remains will be brought to his residence in Mahalakshmipuram at 1 PM today, allowing fans and well-wishers to pay their respects. His residence will remain open for visitors from 1 PM today until 10 AM tomorrow (January 16). The final rites will take place at Chamarajpet Crematorium at 10 AM tomorrow.
Known for his exceptional acting talent, Sarigama Viji was a beloved figure in both the Kannada film and television industries.
