KALABURAGI, June 15: A tragic accident on the Jevargi Vijayapura Road near Nelogi Kaman has resulted in the death of two individuals, one of whom was identified as Shivananda Swamy (34), a first-grade clerk employed at the Yadgiri Deputy Commissioner’s office. The other victim was Lokesh Basavaraja Hassan (35), a private computer operator. The collision occurred late Saturday night, with reports indicating that one additional person sustained injuries.
Local authorities, including ASP Bindurani, CPI Rajasab, Gajanan Biradara, and Somashekhar, responded swiftly to the scene to initiate investigations. The Nelogi police station has registered a case in connection with the incident, probing the circumstances that led to the fatal collision between the lorry and car.
