VIJAYAPURA: A tragic discovery was made behind a private hospital at Chalukya Nagar in Vijayapura on Saturday, where the body of a newborn baby boy was found. The body was located at the doorstep of a building owned by BG Police Patil and was first spotted by girl students residing there as tenants. Alongside the body, a slip from a private hospital was also found, adding to the mystery.
The Adarsh Nagar police were promptly informed and responded to the scene. They have since shifted the newborn’s body to the district hospital for further examination. Authorities are diligently reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding area to gather more information about the incident.
Initial observations revealed some black spots on the newborn’s body, leading to speculation that the baby might have died due to an illness. The police suspect that the parents may have abandoned the body to avoid hospital bills, although this theory is yet to be confirmed. The police emphasized that a thorough investigation is ongoing to uncover the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
