Yadgir Tragedy: One Dead, 12 Injured as Vehicle Overturns

A tragic accident occurred on the outskirts of Dharmapura village in Gurumitkal taluk, Yadgir, when a pick-up vehicle transporting laborers to work overturned. The mishap claimed the life of a 22-year-old woman, Mogalamma, from Itakal in Sedam taluk, Kalaburagi district.

More than 12 other workers sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at hospitals in Yadgir and Raichur. The workers, employed at a cotton farm near Dharmapura, were en route to the field when the accident happened.

The incident highlights the risks associated with unsafe transportation for laborers and raises concerns about their safety.
